An IT Service Desk Support Specialist professional possesses a solid work experience, work ethic, and a passion for providing exceptional IT support to a large number of PSGC employees and contractors. This position will provide front line support services for the department’s desktop and network environment. It will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software applications, phones, and other technical hardware.
Position is responsible for maintaining, tracking, and ensuring compliance with PSGC fixed asset policies, for the complete lifecycle of the asset from fixed asset project initiation, all the way through asset retirement. This position will also support other risk, compliance and accounting and finance-related functions
Responsible for analysis of maintenance performance data evaluating maintenance efficiency in resolving issues involving the production machinery. Analyze component usage data looking for trends requiring either PM enhancements or additional operator training. Monitor on-going work to ensure sound practices are being followed and that intended results are achieved. Review equipment inspections to determine corrective maintenance requirements. Develop practical, realistic technical solutions for all problems uncovered.
Performs general ledger accounting. Reviews and validates journal entries for accuracy and reviews and processes partner billings. Makes necessary GAAP adjustments and consolidates financial information to meet internal and external reporting requirements. Investigates budget variances, and provides explanations to management. Assists in the coordination and preparation of financial statement audit supporting documentation. May also have responsibility for understanding and reporting out on FERC accounting rules.
The Mining Technician, Underground Mining, performs any one of several different functions in the non production “outby” areas (at areas other than the “face”), including the operation of conveyors, pumps, materials handling equipment, staging of supplies, operating and performing preventive maintenance on ventilation equipment, and power distribution equipment.
The Maintenance Technician, Underground Mining, performs troubleshooting and repair of all underground electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment in accordance with permissible condition as defined by MSHA. The role also is responsible for performing scheduled and preventive maintenance as required and completes the necessary reports and records.
