Prairie State Generating Company Environmental Services department is looking for college students who are interested in a summer intern program.  A limited number of internships are available for college students enrolled in a specific curriculum.  Participating as an intern will provide valuable experience and exposure to environmental controls, permitting, monitoring and recordkeeping aspects of a state-of-the-art energy campus.  Student interns will receive hands-on training and experience as well as exposure to professionals in the energy industry.

Analyze component usage data looking for trends requiring either PM enhancements or additional operator training. Monitor on-going work to ensure sound practices are being followed and that intended results are achieved. Review equipment inspections to determine corrective maintenance requirements. Develop practical, realistic technical solutions for all problems uncovered.
