The Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the activities of electrical engineering personnel in analyzing equipment problems and implementing corrective actions based on sound engineering principles.

Summary: Responsible for installation and maintenance of the mine communications and data systems. This includes the execution of a predictive / preventative maintenance program that includes meeting all State and Federal legal requirements on all electrical and electronic systems on the surface areas and underground areas of a coal mine.

Summary The Mining Technician, Underground Mining, performs any one of several different functions in the mine including the operation of continuous miners, roof bolters, coal haulers, scoops, conveyors, pumps, materials handling equipment, Mine examination, staging of supplies, operating and performing preventive maintenance on ventilation equipment, and power distribution equipment.
