The Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment utilized both underground and surface. Maintenance Technicians will regularly examine equipment to ensure that it is operating appropriately. This position must become knowledgeable in all aspects of mine operations and learn the location and function of equipment operating at the mine location. Maintenance Technicians work rotating shifts so schedules vary to cover all hours of mine operation which may include overtime, holidays and weekends. Maintenance Technicians may be subject to call-ins to assist with maintenance issues that may, or have, impact plant performance. Education/Experience
High School or GED preferred.
Certification/Licensure
Valid MSHA electrical card preferred but not required.
